Puma Suede x Street Fighter Debuts Ryu And Ken Masters Colorways
LEON DANG•September 05, 2026
Puma has unveiled a new Street Fighter-inspired collection built on the Puma Suede silhouette, opening with two colorways dedicated to Ryu and Ken Masters, the most recognizable pair from the legendary fighting game's roster. The release lines up with the live-action Street Fighter film, set to hit theaters on October 16, 2026, turning the collection into a crossover point for both sneakerheads and gaming fans.

For a game brand tied to the childhoods of so many arcade fans, Puma's choice to lead with its two most iconic characters makes sense. The Ryu colorway stays true to the character's spirit, with a light-toned upper echoing his signature white gi and red accents recalling his classic headband. Ken Masters, by contrast, comes in warmer tones that reflect the blond-haired fighter's more flamboyant, confident character.
The Puma Suede silhouette remains unchanged from its familiar form, with a cushioned midsole and durable outsole built for daily wear rather than display-case duty. The collection's standout details are the Hadouken and Shoryuken graphics, the signature moves tied to Ryu and Ken, worked into the upper, alongside a hangtag referencing the game's legendary World Warrior Tournament.
Ryu and Ken are only the first two characters confirmed for the project. Chun-Li, the franchise's other standout fighter, is reportedly also planned, though her colorway and release timing haven't been revealed. For sneakerheads who grew up with Street Fighter on arcade cabinets and consoles, the Ryu and Ken Masters Puma Suede pair is a nostalgic nod true to the game's own style. The Puma Suede "Street Fighter" Ryu and Ken Masters pair officially releases on September 12, 2026, priced at around $120.
